Programs and services
A home, a meal and a way to work
It's our aspiration to provide holistic, wrap-around services: more than a roof, it's a service.

Community and transitional housing
Housing in dignified neighborhoods, 24 hours a day, for homeless men with handicaps, disabilities and other hindrances, including extended housing for persons with disabilities. Residents follow house rules and a curfew, and get the tools and support to become self-sufficient.

Daddyz' Kitchen
Our to-go restaurant and nonprofit kitchen sells halal (zabiha) food to the public, gives free meals to our residents, and takes 100+ free meals to unhoused people living outdoors and to neighbors shut in by disability or illness.

The paid work program
Unemployment is the leading factor behind homelessness in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The people we serve are often kept from work by physical handicaps, mental challenges, lack of education or skills, judgments against a criminal conviction, or low self-esteem.
Our paid internship and work program gives them a track record to show employers, on the contracts that fund Huma-Faith.
Prison ministry
Prison book program
For the cost of postage, we send donated books to incarcerated and institutionalized brothers and sisters, with a particular focus on Muslims, a population under-served by prison chaplaincy. Anyone may request books for someone inside.
